
Dominion: Storyworld and Demo
Narrative Design
The main work of this project started as a collaborative project as apart of Dr. Geoffrey Long’s Wonderlab in Miami University.
By leading the narrative design, art and visuals, and writing the worldbuilding, histories, magic systems, and lore of the world of Dominion. I was able to develop a new unique world were the majority of magic is dimension magic, from allowing people to fold space around them, to warping the dimensions of what they see fit, to dominating the area around them, and to even encountering eldritch chaos.
I was able to emerge out of the project with a full story world and three part narrative with over arcing characters.
Game Demo
Yet I further branched off from this project to independently take the project to new heights. Not only will the storyworld evolve into a future Tabletop RPG Sourcebook, but I was able to independently construct a GBSTUDIO Game Demo over a side story adjacent to the main narrative of Dominion. I was especially able to enjoy creating the art of the game, as well as expanding the beginnings of a whole branch of the narrative.
